FELLOWSHIPS

ARTHREX / PRINCE OF WALES HOSPITAL SHOULDER FELLOWSHIP

This 12 month fellowship is open to fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeons from only Australia and New Zealand.

The fellowship involves...

• 2 days a week in the laboratory conducting research in topics related to orthopaedic biomechanics in the shoulder. There will be one major project and several smaller projects each year. Prof William Walsh will supervise the laboratory component.
• Assisting in the Prince of Wales Private Hospital and Canada Bay Private Hospital.
• Attending clinics and rooms sessions seeing patients, plus clinical meetings at Prince of Wales Hospital.
• Medical student, resident and registrar teaching.
• Limited supervised surgery at Prince of Wales Public Hospital.
• The ability to participate in the "on call" roster at Prince of Wales Public Hospital.
